Today is a sad day for this guy...

My favorite sports franchise lost their first ever game 7 when leading a best of 7 series 3 games to 2 last night. It was rather depressing actually. In fact, it was so depressing I can't write about it. Let's discuss something different today...

Every sports team that wins a championship has been invited to the White House for years now. This past years Super Bowl winner is no exception. The Steelers, having beat the Arizona Cardinals, are scheduled to visit President Obama on Thursday, but the Defensive Player of the Year in the NFL, James Harrison, won't be attending, and listen to his reason:

"This is how I feel -- if you want to see the Pittsburgh Steelers, invite us when we don't win the Super Bowl. As far as I'm concerned, he [Obama] would've invited Arizona if they had won."

Well... You are right big guy. That is what they do, they invite the winners to come visit. Another great quote from an overpaid, undereducated professional athlete. As far as I'm concerned, James Harrison is sort of a fool. If he doesn't want to go to the White House, fine, just don't make a lame excuse in an attempt to justify your decision.
